11:30 pm – Strange Implications and Time with Jameson
January 18 @ 11:30 pm - 1:30 am$3
Strange Implications are a Bloomington-based alternative rock band consisting of Lenny Nicotra (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Ethan Croke (Lead Guitar), Noah Dereszynski (Bass Guitar), and Bryce Greene (Drums). Formed in 2017 at Indiana University, the band plays alternative rock music while taking inspiration from surf, garage, grunge, and indie rock. Drawing from backgrounds/passions of surf rock, metal, funk, garage rock, and many other genres, Strange Implications aim to create a unique sound while being authentic to the roots of rock music. With the band members being a mix of Jacobs School of Music students and Informatics/Computer Science students, each member of Strange Implications brings their own unique sensibilities from the more rigid and structured training of classical music, to the raw expressiveness of guitar-based rock and roll, and everything in between.
Time with Jameson is an alternative rock band from
Bloomington, Indiana. The type of music they play is grounded in alternative rock, but their influences extend outside of the genre. They’re inspired by the energy of punk, the melodies of 80s post-punk, the intimacy of singer-songwriter, and the passion of rock and roll.
